A LITTLE LIFE GUIDE / CHECKLIST

Keep a repair quotation separate from warranty coverage

A repair quote describes a proposed price, while a warranty record describes supplied coverage information.

A repair quote describes a proposed price, while a warranty record describes supplied coverage information. Keep them separate so a number in one document does not become a payment or coverage decision.

THE LITTLE THING TO REMEMBER

Separate paperwork roles before connecting them in your next action.

01

Start with the source

Read the quote and the provider’s written explanation. A quoted amount does not prove you paid it, and a product under recorded cover does not prove that every proposed repair is included.

02

Make the review useful

Keep the warranty source in its dedicated space. Organize the quote as the appropriate document or bill context, with unsupported payment fields left unconfirmed. A later completed receipt needs its own careful relationship to the quote to avoid double counting.

03

Keep the next step clear

Create a task to ask the provider a specific question or gather the requested documents. The app can prepare an editable draft and reminders, but you decide whether to authorize work or accept any external charge through the actual service.

PUT IT INTO PRACTICE

Your little checklist.

  1. Identify whether the source is coverage, quote or receipt.

  2. Preserve each document’s stated purpose.

  3. Keep proposed prices out of confirmed paid spending.

  4. Review any provider question or external decision deliberately.

A little reference.

Keep the context and your next action together.

ONE MORE QUESTION

Does having a warranty record authorize a paid repair?

No. OneTap does not approve charges or determine coverage; any repair authorization and payment require your separate external decision.

Your source stays the reference.

These guides explain product workflows. Review extracted names, dates and amounts. Features depend on your device, permissions and optional service setup.

A little more clarity, in your pocket.
