A confirmation email or screenshot can hold the details you need to remember a plan. Capture the useful source and review its category before creating reminders around it.
A useful renewal record starts with verified plan details rather than a guessed date.
Check the plan fields
Confirm the provider, service name, amount per cycle, currency and next billing date. A document’s issue date is not automatically its renewal date. If the source is ambiguous, leave the uncertain detail for confirmation rather than allowing an extracted guess to become a confident reminder.
Choose tracking and alerts
Set the subscription’s tracking status and review whether automatic advance alerts are useful. The managed action links back to the record and can be adjusted afterward. Keeping the record marked Active means you are tracking it, not that OneTap verified your provider account or a recent payment.
Tracking is different from payment
Open the confirmation and identify the next date you can actually support. A receipt sent after the last charge may show a payment date without stating the next renewal; a trial message may explain when access starts but leave billing unclear. Keep such uncertainty visible and add a task to check the provider account if needed. Before enabling automatic alerts, inspect the record’s category, active status and reviewed date together. The resulting reminder should ask you to inspect a specific plan, not imply that OneTap connected to the provider or verified a future charge. A clear local record is valuable even when one field remains deliberately unconfirmed instead of guessed.

A little reference.
Keep the context and your next action together.
| Choice | Use it for | Check before saving |
|---|---|---|
| Plan name | Which service is tracked | Use the provider wording |
| Cycle amount | Estimated recurring price | Check currency and interval |
| Next billing | The reviewed renewal date | Do not use issue date by mistake |
Does adding the record connect to the provider account?
No. It is a reviewed local record; OneTap does not automatically access the provider account or verify payments.
