A plan priced per month and a plan priced per year should not be entered as though they were the same cycle. Read the provider notice before saving the recurring estimate.
A recurring price explains the plan; a reviewed bill explains recorded spending.
Keep amount and interval together
Enter the price for the actual cycle shown in the source. A yearly amount should not be silently treated as a monthly payment. Check currency as well; different currencies are not converted into a single equivalent by OneTap.
Compare estimates with actual evidence
The subscription space helps you inspect recurring estimates. Confirmed paid-bill spending is based on reviewed bill records and payment confirmation, not simply on the existence of an Active subscription. If you want a charge represented as paid spending, review the actual bill using the Bills workflow.
Keep future reminders useful
Compare two sample plan notices by their stated cycles rather than by the largest or smallest number. A price of 999 per year describes a different interval from 99 per month, and a currency label changes the meaning again. Enter the source amount as stated and keep its cycle alongside it. If you want to compare plans manually, explain your calculation separately instead of rewriting the recorded source price into an inferred payment amount. When an actual charge arrives, review the bill evidence on its own. The subscription estimate should remain a description of the plan you are tracking, while recorded paid spending should reflect a checked charge rather than an arithmetic projection.
Your little checklist.
Read the source’s amount, currency and billing interval.
Enter the amount for that stated cycle.
Check whether the record is Monthly, Yearly or Other.
Keep actual paid-charge evidence in the appropriate bill record.
A little reference.
Keep the context and your next action together.
| Choice | Use it for | Check before saving |
|---|---|---|
| Cycle estimate | Expected recurring plan price | Not payment evidence |
| Currency | Unit of the recorded amount | Keep currencies separate |
| Paid bill | A confirmed actual charge | Review its own evidence |
Does an Active plan automatically add its estimated price to paid spending?
No. Recurring subscription estimates are kept separate from confirmed paid-bill spending.
