A LITTLE LIFE GUIDE / EXPLAINER

Read the in-app calendar as a review plan

See source deadlines and check-ins without assuming they are external bookings.

The OneTap calendar brings planned reviews and source deadlines into a date-oriented view. Use it to understand your local task plan before making commitments in another calendar service.

THE LITTLE THING TO REMEMBER

The calendar is a view of your plan, not evidence that someone else received an invitation.

01

Open a date with a question in mind

Look for what needs preparation, what is due and what merely asks for another review. A task title can appear because of different timing fields. Open the action when you need to understand which event you are looking at and whether its source is still current.

02

Treat external calendars separately

A local planned check-in is not a Google Calendar event or an invitation. Optional Google booking requires a configured connection, an availability check and your approval. Inspect the date, time, recipients and details before creating an external meeting.

03

Stay in control of the schedule

On a busy calendar date, open one item and identify why it appears there. It might be the original due date, a recurring check-in or another local planning field. Read the task’s source before moving it to a quieter day, because a document deadline cannot be changed merely by editing your review plan. If you intend to book time with another person, switch to the separate connected-calendar workflow and inspect its proposed details. The local calendar can help you notice the need for a conversation, but it should not lead you to assume that a guest received an invitation or agreed to the time just because a task is visible.

PUT IT INTO PRACTICE

One step at a time.

  1. 01

Open OneTap’s calendar view for the period you need.

  2. 02

Inspect deadlines and planned check-ins on a selected date.

  3. 03

Open a task to review its source and timing fields.

  4. 04

Use the separate Google workflow for an external booking.

ONE MORE QUESTION

Are local review dates automatically added to Google Calendar?

No. Creating a Google event is an optional separate action that requires connection and approval.

Your source stays the reference.

These guides explain product workflows. Review extracted names, dates and amounts. Features depend on your device, permissions and optional service setup.
