AI can help organize a reply, but it can also introduce an unsupported detail or the wrong tone. Read the draft against the source before putting it into another app.
A polished draft becomes your message only after you have reviewed its claims and tone.
Check factual claims first
Look for dates, amounts, names, reference numbers and statements such as “I have attached” or “payment is complete.” Keep only what is true in the actual context. If the source does not support a claim, remove it or phrase a clear question instead.
Check tone and disclosure
Remove internal notes, unnecessary private details and wording that sounds stronger than you intend. Choose the correct processing mode before requesting the draft; online mode shares approved source content. Copying a draft is not sending, but it is a good moment for a final careful read.
You approve every external action
Inspect sentences that imply completed actions before evaluating style. A draft might say that a file is attached, that payment was made or that a time was agreed, even though you supplied only an intention to do those things. Remove or correct such claims unless you can verify them. Then review what the recipient actually needs to know and remove private planning context that does not belong in the message. The final draft should be accurate when read without access to your internal notes. This is a useful check even for a fluent result: model-generated confidence should not turn an uncertain source, a rough plan or an unfinished step into a statement presented as fact.

A little reference.
