A LITTLE LIFE GUIDE / GUIDE

Draft a request for a missing report

A specific administrative message is easier for a provider to answer than “send my report.” Prepare the reference and document details before opening your email composer.

A specific administrative message is easier for a provider to answer than “send my report.” Prepare the reference and document details before opening your email composer.

THE LITTLE THING TO REMEMBER

Ask for one identifiable document and track the real response.

01

Start with the source

Find the appointment or receipt that identifies the visit. Use the provider’s actual contact information and include only the reference details necessary for the request. A recipient suggested from imported text still needs your review.

02

Make the review useful

Write a clear draft naming the missing document and the relevant visit date. Check that you are requesting the right patient’s record and that you are comfortable with the information included. Do not attach unrelated reports simply because they are available.

03

Keep the next step clear

Copy the draft or open the email composer and send it deliberately. Add a follow-up reminder to check for a response. OneTap does not contact the provider, obtain records automatically or establish that the request was fulfilled.

PUT IT INTO PRACTICE

One step at a time.

  1. 01

Find the correct visit date and reference.

  2. 02

    Verify the provider’s recipient information.

  3. 03

Review a concise request for the specific missing document.

  4. 04

Send externally and schedule a later status check.

A little reference.

Keep the context and your next action together.

ONE MORE QUESTION

Will a scheduled follow-up send the request again automatically?

No. The reminder brings the task back to you; messages remain drafts until you choose to send through the external app.

Your source stays the reference.

These guides explain product workflows. Review extracted names, dates and amounts. Features depend on your device, permissions and optional service setup.

A little more clarity, in your pocket.
