A purchase button is only the start of a store workflow. If access remains locked, inspect the returned status before assuming another purchase attempt is the right next step.
Understand the store outcome before creating another payment attempt or changing local data.
Look for verified completion
The app uses the native store’s verified entitlement. A pending, cancelled, failed or unavailable product state is different from a verified purchase. Do not treat a spinner, a paywall screenshot or a provider receipt pasted into a note as authority to unlock app features.
Use restore and support carefully
Use the original store account and the in-app restore option when appropriate. Keep store transaction details private and follow the store’s own guidance for billing issues. Workspace encryption, entry counters and model installation are separate concerns; a purchase result should be inspected before troubleshooting those systems.
Preserve the evidence
Write down the actual state you saw after the purchase attempt: cancelled, pending, failed, unavailable or verified access. Those states call for different next steps and should not be compressed into “I tapped Buy.” If an existing purchase may apply, inspect the restore path using the relevant account. If the store has not completed a transaction, avoid repeated payment attempts made only to see whether the button changes. Keep workspace data out of the troubleshooting path unless there is a separate data issue. A useful support description can name the platform, app version and visible store result without exposing passwords, verification codes or private workspace exports in an attempt to prove the purchase.
One step at a time.
- 01
Read the purchase result shown by the native store flow.
- 02
Confirm you are using the intended store account.
- 03
Try the appropriate in-app restore flow when eligible.
- 04
Contact support or the store with relevant non-secret details if unresolved.
A little reference.
Keep the context and your next action together.
| Choice | Use it for | Check before saving |
|---|---|---|
| Pending or failed | No verified unlock yet | Read the store result |
| Restore | Check existing store access | Use original ecosystem |
| Local workspace | Your saved information | Separate from billing status |
Should I delete the app to repair an uncertain purchase?
Do not start with deletion. It can affect local data; inspect the store state and restore path first.
