A LITTLE LIFE GUIDE / EXPLAINER

Keep complete originals beside working previews

A compressed preview is convenient for finding a report, but it should not be your only copy when the full document may matter.

A compressed preview is convenient for finding a report, but it should not be your only copy when the full document may matter. Keep a deliberate original-document plan.

THE LITTLE THING TO REMEMBER

Use OneTap as a working record aid while preserving originals you may need.

01

Start with the source

New image captures retain normalized PNG previews in the encrypted workspace. Tap the saved image in record detail to zoom it. The preview is compressed and stripped of source metadata; it is not promised as a full-resolution clinical archive.

02

Make the review useful

Keep original PDFs, paper reports or provider downloads separately when you need complete pages and fine print. Recognized source text can omit layout and small characters. A summary is shorter still and should not replace the complete source.

03

Keep the next step clear

Before deleting originals or changing devices, check what actually exists in the record and any export. Earlier records cannot recreate images that older app versions never saved. Retention settings also affect whether saved sources remain available.

PUT IT INTO PRACTICE

One step at a time.

  1. 01

Inspect the source preview saved with the record.

  2. 02

Keep the complete original in an appropriate private location.

  3. 03

Use the original for details the preview cannot show.

  4. 04

Check retention and exports before removing any copy.

A little reference.

Keep the context and your next action together.

ONE MORE QUESTION

Can an old text-only record recover its original image?

No. If an earlier version did not save the image, the current app cannot reconstruct it from the text or summary.

Your source stays the reference.

These guides explain product workflows. Review extracted names, dates and amounts. Features depend on your device, permissions and optional service setup.
