A LITTLE LIFE GUIDE / GUIDE

Read report flags as source markings

A printed flag or highlighted value belongs to the source document.

A printed flag or highlighted value belongs to the source document. OneTap can help you locate that wording, but it does not establish what the marking means for your health.

THE LITTLE THING TO REMEMBER

A visible flag is a reason to inspect context, not a diagnosis from the app.

01

Start with the source

Open the original report or saved source and inspect the exact line around the marker. Include its label, units and nearby explanation in your review. A short extracted highlight can omit context that changes how the report should be understood.

02

Make the review useful

Keep summaries factual and editable. The documented app selects explicit source markers; it does not calculate clinical reference ranges, infer seriousness or recommend treatment. Avoid rewriting “flagged in source” as “serious condition detected.”

03

Keep the next step clear

Use a task to prepare questions or locate a missing page if necessary. A review reminder can bring you back to the document, but a countdown or notification is not a clinical alert system and should not be treated as one.

PUT IT INTO PRACTICE

One step at a time.

  1. 01

Locate the marker in the original report.

  2. 02

Read its surrounding labels and explanatory context.

  3. 03

Keep the saved summary faithful to the source.

  4. 04

Write questions for the appropriate professional when interpretation is needed.

A little reference.

Keep the context and your next action together.

ONE MORE QUESTION

Will OneTap classify a flagged result as serious?

No. It does not infer medical seriousness, calculate clinical ranges or recommend treatment from report flags.

Your source stays the reference.

These guides explain product workflows. Review extracted names, dates and amounts. Features depend on your device, permissions and optional service setup.
