If you have already purchased OneTap Lifetime, inspect the native restore flow before buying again. Restoration depends on the appropriate store account and its verified entitlement.
A restored purchase and a restored workspace are different outcomes.
Use the correct store context
Apple and Google have separate purchase systems. Do not assume an Android purchase creates an Apple entitlement or that copying a workspace export transfers store access. Use the original store ecosystem and account associated with the purchase when testing restoration.
Distinguish purchase access from data recovery
Restoring a store entitlement can unlock app features, but it does not synchronize or recover a device-local workspace. Your Mac, phone and tablet keep separate encrypted data. Export important information deliberately before deleting an app or changing a device.
Preserve the evidence
Before choosing Restore, check which store ecosystem and account originally handled the purchase. A workspace export can carry saved information, but it is not a signed store entitlement and should not be used as proof of paid access. Read the restore result in the installed app rather than assuming the button’s availability means restoration succeeded. If the app reports access restored, inspect the features it unlocks separately from whether your old device’s records exist here. Keeping these outcomes distinct helps you investigate the right issue: store access may be available while the device still has an independent empty workspace, because data synchronization is not part of the purchase restoration workflow.
One step at a time.
- 01
Open the Lifetime page in the installed native app.
- 02
Use the store account associated with the original purchase.
- 03
Choose the restore control and inspect its actual result.
- 04
Handle local data backup separately from purchase restoration.
A little reference.
Keep the context and your next action together.
| Choice | Use it for | Check before saving |
|---|---|---|
| Restore purchase | Recover verified feature access | Use original store context |
| Workspace data | Saved local information | Does not sync with entitlement |
| Export | A deliberate data copy | Plain JSON, store privately |
Will restoring Lifetime download my records from another device?
No. OneTap does not synchronize workspaces; store entitlement restoration does not provide cloud data recovery.
