A LITTLE LIFE GUIDE / COMPARISON

Review a local model summary against source lines

Keep source evidence separate from fluent generated wording.

A summary should make a document easier to inspect, not replace the document with unsupported confidence. Use the source and highlighted spans to check the proposed reading.

THE LITTLE THING TO REMEMBER

A useful summary points you back to evidence instead of asking you to trust its tone.

01

Check the claims that affect action

Look at dates, names, amounts, required documents and recipients. Each important next step should make sense when you read the corresponding source wording. If a summary appears to know something absent from the source, revise or remove that claim rather than treating fluency as evidence.

02

Save only a reviewed record

Source text and the editable summary remain distinct. In record review, inspect the result and choose Save record when you intend to retain the changes. A preview does not establish that the underlying source was complete or that an external action has been performed.

03

Keep the processing choice visible

Pick one sentence in the proposed summary and locate the source span that supports it. Read the surrounding lines too, because a quoted amount might be an estimate, a prior balance or a total rather than the payment you intend to track. Repeat the check for the date and required action. If the source itself was recognized incorrectly, correct that working text or provide a clearer source before relying on a revised summary. Save only the interpretation you have actually reviewed. This source-to-claim comparison gives the summary a useful role as an index to evidence, rather than allowing fluent wording to replace the record you need to understand.

PUT IT INTO PRACTICE

One step at a time.

  1. 01

Open the original recognized source text beside the summary.

  2. 02

Check every proposed date, amount and next action.

  3. 03

Revise unsupported or unclear summary wording.

  4. 04

Save the reviewed record explicitly when satisfied.

A little reference.

Keep the context and your next action together.
