A tablet gives you more room to inspect a source and its proposed actions. The extra space helps review, but it does not make an OCR reading automatically accurate.
A larger screen is a useful review surface, while the source remains the authority.
Compare source and fields
Read the relevant source before confirming category, provider, record date or action timing. A visually tidy summary can still contain a mistaken number. Use the record detail and image view when you need to inspect a saved normalized preview more closely.
Keep the working copy local
The iPad workspace is separate from your phone and Mac. Decide which device will own the active reminders. If you use the same document elsewhere, manage that duplication deliberately instead of expecting a task completed on the tablet to complete everywhere.
Start with the right expectation
Use the tablet’s extra space to compare one important field at a time with the source. Start with the category, then the relevant date and any amount or required action. If the record is an image capture, zoom the normalized saved preview when it helps, but return to the original file for full fidelity when necessary. More screen area can make mistakes easier to notice; it cannot make an unsupported conclusion valid. After review, inspect which device will own the resulting schedule. A carefully checked iPad record is still a local iPad entry, so decide deliberately whether you need that reminder there rather than assuming it will also appear on your phone.
One step at a time.
- 01
Open the source on the iPad and inspect its context.
- 02
Check important extracted fields against the document.
- 03
Open full detail when a small preview is insufficient.
- 04
Choose whether this device should own the active reminders.
A little reference.
Keep the context and your next action together.
| Choice | Use it for | Check before saving |
|---|---|---|
| Larger layout | Room for review | Not an accuracy guarantee |
| Record detail | Source and reviewed fields | Inspect important facts |
| iPad workspace | This device’s records | Separate from other devices |
Is an iPad record automatically available on my iPhone?
No. OneTap uses separate local workspaces and does not synchronize them through an account.
These guides explain product workflows. Review extracted names, dates and amounts. Features depend on your device, permissions and optional service setup.
