A LITTLE LIFE GUIDE / EXPLAINER

Separate two documents that arrived in one screenshot

A conversation screenshot can contain a receipt followed by an unrelated appointment.

A conversation screenshot can contain a receipt followed by an unrelated appointment. Decide what each piece represents before saving a summary that mixes their dates and amounts.

THE LITTLE THING TO REMEMBER

A clean source boundary prevents a confusing record later.

01

Start with the source

Read the full screenshot and identify the boundaries between the messages. Where possible, import a separate readable source for each unrelated document. Do not assign a receipt’s total to a nearby medical report merely because they share an image.

02

Make the review useful

Choose the record category that matches the source you are saving. Hospital invoices belong in Bills, while clinical reports belong in Health. A general message can remain a message record with its own sender and requested action.

03

Keep the next step clear

Before approving, check that every action refers to the same intended source. Separate captures can make later search and dashboard totals clearer, but they are separate entries under the device’s free entry allowance.

PUT IT INTO PRACTICE

One step at a time.

  1. 01

Identify which messages describe independent documents.

  2. 02

Prepare separate readable captures when the subjects differ.

  3. 03

Choose the correct category for each source.

  4. 04

Check titles and dates before approving the separate entries.

ONE MORE QUESTION

Can I use one amount for a report and its invoice?

No. The report and invoice serve different purposes; only a properly reviewed paid bill contributes to spending.

Your source stays the reference.

These guides explain product workflows. Review extracted names, dates and amounts. Features depend on your device, permissions and optional service setup.
