A spoken reminder can preserve a thought quickly, but transcription still needs a review. State one action, its subject and the date you mean before importing your short audio file.
Treat the transcript as a draft of what you said.
Start with the source
Use a supported recording and choose the language you actually spoke. English, Hindi and Telugu offline language packs are available through the app’s voice workflow. The first language-pack download needs an internet connection.
Make the review useful
Read the transcript before using it as capture text. Similar-sounding names, numbers and time expressions can change the meaning of a task. Replace “call him later” with the person or service name and a date you have checked.
Keep the next step clear
Approve the final action only after choosing its priority and reminders. Offline file transcription is different from live operating-system dictation, which may use the device vendor’s online service depending on its settings.
One step at a time.
- 01
Import a short supported audio file.
- 02
Choose the spoken language and download its pack if needed.
- 03
Correct names, amounts and dates in the transcript.
- 04
Review the action and reminder before approving it.
A little reference.
Keep the context and your next action together.
| Check | Example | Your next step |
|---|---|---|
| Language | Telugu reminder | Select Telugu before transcription |
| Name | A person with a similar-sounding name | Correct it in the transcript |
| Time | “After lunch” | Choose a specific useful alert time |
Does offline transcription require a personal API key?
No personal provider key is required for the downloaded offline voice path; the initial language-pack download still needs internet.
These guides explain product workflows. Review extracted names, dates and amounts. Features depend on your device, permissions and optional service setup.
